Teens for Healthy Youth Bag for Bucks at Piggly Wiggly
Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) members from Hilton Head Christian Academy and Bluffton High bagged groceries at LCHAY Business Sector Representative, David Martin’s store, Piggly Wiggly. The goal was to raise funds for the LowCountry Alliance for Healthy Youth (LCAHY) and their youth coalition, THY. THY members shared their vision and mission statements with customers at Piggly Wiggly and asked for donations while bagging the customer’s groceries. David Martin is a long-term champion of youth and Teens for Healthy Youth. THY members raised $500 for their efforts. THY plans to engage in Bagging for Bucks several times a year as part of LCAHY’s fund development efforts.
