Bluffton High Promote Positive Ways for Students & Teachers to Deal with Stress During Final Exams

Teens for Healthy Youth (THY) Bluffton High School promoted healthy ways for students and their teachers to manage stress during final exams and May Mental Health and Substance Abuse Awareness Month. THY members distributed THY’s Teen Stress Fact Card to their peers throughout lunchtime and delivered THY’s Teacher Stress Fact Card to teachers and staff. Fact cards were given out during final exam time because THY is aware this is a time of increased stress for students and teachers and wanted to provide healthy strategies for managing stress, leading to avoiding negative ways of coping with stress like using alcohol and drugs.
